For the first time in netball history, women and men will play at the same global tournament, at next week's Fast5 World Series in Christchurch. And it could be the catalyst for netball becoming an Olympic sport, Merryn Anderson reports.

The Constellation Cup was headed back into Australian hands after the Silver Ferns were undone by a poor third quarter when losing the fourth test 57-53 on the Gold Coast last night.

Netball Australia has had the rug pulled out from under it after mining magnate Gina Rinehart ripped up a A$15 million sponsorship deal on Saturday.

The Silver Ferns have been exposed in the third test of the Constellation Cup against Australia, going down 62-47 in Melbourne.
