Te Akau Racing's quartet of Group One hopefuls have all pleased ahead of Saturday's Courtesy Ford Manawatu Sires' Produce Stakes.

Gold Fever - Trish Dunell

Gold Fever, Melody Belle, Summer Monsoon and Swing Note are all in top order for Awapuni, according to co-trainer Stephen Autridge.

Gold Fever won the Gr.2 Matamata Breeders' Stakes before overcoming a rocky run to finish third in the Gr.1 Sistema Stakes while Melody Belle was a comfortable last-start winner of the Karaka Million.

"We think she's improved since the Million," Autridge said. "She wasn't quite right before the Sistema and we decided not to risk her, but she was fantastic in her trial."

Summer Monsoon has also trialled since finishing runner-up to Summer Passage in Listed company at Matamata. "He's on the improve and his work on Tuesday morning was the best I've seen from him," Autridge said.

Swing Note has been placed in each of her three starts. "She has justified a go at black type. She's going to be better as a three-year-old, but 1400m will suit," Autridge said.
