Panthers set for big changes as Origin stars return, trio named in NSW Cup: Late Mail

The State of Origin series opener was a brutal affair but the Penrith Panthers are set to have all of their Blues representatives backing up in a big boost.

Three Panthers originally in the team’s 17 on Tuesday have been named in Penrith’s NSW Cup side on Sunday though, with mass changes expected at the foot of the mountains.

Late Mail: Penrith’s host of Origin players are all fit and available for selection according to the club after pulling up well from Wednesday. Izack Tago is set to return in place of Tyrone Peachey after being sidelined with a pectoral injury while Spencer Leniu (ruptured testicle) returns in place of Jaeman Salmon. Peachey and Salmon were both named in NSW Cup along with Soni Luke, meaning Jack Cogger is set to make his Panthers debut off the bench.
