The Chris Waller trained Group 1 Queensland Oaks winner Youngstar is the favourite with TAB.com.au for the Group 1 Caulfield Cup (2400m) at Caulfield on Saturday following the announcement of the final field on Tuesday morning while the Mick Price trained Mighty Boss has the biggest potential collect of $140,000.

The four-year-old High Chaparral mare is on the top line of betting at $5 to win the famous race, ahead of Kings Will Dream (IRE) at $5.50 and The Cliffsofmoher (IRE) at $7.

“Youngstar shot to prominence with an eye catching second to stablemate Winx in the Turnbull Stakes with third placed Kings Will Dream on the second line of betting,” TAB’s Nick Quinn said.

Youngstar was a 1L second to stablemare and champion mare Winx in the Group 1 Turnbull Stakes over 2000m at Flemington on October 6th ahead of the Darren Weir trained Kings Will Dream.

The biggest potential collect on the race is for the punter who placed $1,000 on Mighty Boss to win at $101 and $1,500 at $26 to place.
