The horse racing business founded by Lang Lin, commonly known as Mr Wolf, joins five other export companies in the $1 million-$5 million export revenue category.

Rider Horse NZ has exported more than 1100 horses to China since its inception in 2012. The company currently has thirty racehorses in work in New Zealand and breeds from 100 mares.

Rider Horse's biggest success to date has been with Group One hero Mongolian Khan.

The Holy Roman Emperor entire won the Gr.1 New Zealand Derby, Gr.1 Australian Derby and Gr.1 Caulfield Cup on his way to being crowned New Zealand Horse of the Year in 2015 and 2016.

He now stands at Cambridge's Windsor Park Stud for a service fee of $10,000 + GST.

The awards will be presented at Sky City Convention Centre on June 29.

Rider Horse has also this month put their support behind New Zealand's National Party. They have donated $150,000 to the party ahead of the 2017 General Election on September 23.
