Two-time Group One winner Nashville is heading south to Riccarton for the Gr.3 eStar Winter Cup.Nashville - Race Images Palmerston North

"Christchurch is a track he's always loved and it would be good to see him go down there and perform," said Harry Bull, who trains the son of Darci Brahma with his father Adrian.

"There's an open 2100 at Ashburton at the start of July, so we might look at that as a possible lead-up."

Nashville has two wins and two placings from his last six starts, all in the hands of apprentice Kate Cowan.

"He's been racing really well since Kate's been riding him," Bull said. "He failed in the Wanganui Cup last time, but he just got a bit far back and couldn't really get into it."
