Opie Bosson scored his breakthrough first winner in Hong Kong, aboard Horse Supremo at Sha Tin on Sunday.

The Tony Millard trained five-year-old gelding, Horse Supremo won the second race on the card, the Class 4, 1200m.

Bosson had 60 rides, bagging four seconds and four thirds, riding mostly long-shots during his two month contract as a club rider licence holder during the end of season - known as the grave-yard shift by fellow riders.

Hong Kong's season has five meetings remaining, finishing on July 10. Bosson has been granted an extension to his current Hong Kong licence, beginning from the start of the new season until early December.
