Roosters captain James Tedesco and his long-time girlfriend Maria Glinellis have celebrated their engagement in style.

The pair shared all the glamour of their engagement party at Watson’s Bay in Sydney with their fans in a series of social media posts.

The happy couple announced their engagement in November when Glinellis showed off her ring after the NSW State of Origin star popped the question in his hometown of Menangle.

The 29-year-old’s post at the time had the simple caption of an engagement ring, while Glinellis had her own version with the caption reading: “You make me the happiest girl now and forever. Thank you everyone for the beautiful messages.”

The joy continued over the weekend whey they celebrated with friends and family at the Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel on Saturday.

Photos posted from the event showed the couple sporting white ensembles with Tedesco rocking a white polo shirt and cream blazer.

Videos posted by friends and family showed the night included a bouncing dance floor, fancy cocktails and one moment a plate-smashing tradition almost got out of hand.

The couple are often tight-lipped when speaking about their relationship in public, but both have shared plenty of loved-up snaps on their respective Instagram profiles.

The pair have reportedly been dating for over a year, and attended this year’s Dally M Awards in Queensland.
