The Wests Tigers copped a significant blow in their clash with the Warriors on Friday night with boom prop Stefano Utoikamanu going down.
Utoikamanu was seen hobbling before being taken from the field. He was diagnosed with a high ankle sprain, according to Fox League sideline reporter Matt Russell.
The Sharks will be sweating on the fitness of backs Connor Tracey and Matt Ikuvalu after they suffered injuries in the win over the Dragons.
Tracey suffered a head knock and a groin injury, while Ikuvalu went down with an ankle injury.
“We will have to have a look at them. It is too early to say how bad they are, but they don’t look great,” Sharks coach Craig Fitzgibbon said post match.
“Ronaldo will be right for next week so he will come back in obviously.”

ARTHUR’S APPENDIX SURGERY
Jake Arthur, son of Eels coach brad Arthur and Eels back-up half, was reportedly taken for an appendectomy last Saturday night.
The young half was 18th man in the Parramatta side’s narrow loss to the Sharks, having appeared in the Round 1 victory against the Titans.
“Jake Arthur the son of Brad Arthur, last Saturday night Jake had to be rushed to hospital appendectomy, which is the removal of his appendix, can be quite a serious procedure,” David Riccio said to Triple M.
“Thankfully Jake is A-okay and on the mend, he is back at home and will be back on the paddock within a few weeks.
“From a football points of view, Jake offers plenty of cover to that Eels halves depth and him being on the sideline is just another blow for the casualty ward that is mounting at the Parramatta Eels.”
SU’A NURSING A FOOT INJURY
Dragons recruit Jaydn Su’A will take part in the club’s Round 3 clash against the Sharks, but will have painkilling injections to allow him to play at WIN Stadium.
The 24-year-old has reportedly suffered a plantar fasciitis injury, a foot problem that could potentially lead to surgery if not managed correctly.
“It is never good when you have a player of significance, as you said only three weeks into the season and he needs this, it is Jaydn Su’A,” Riccio said.
“Key recruit for the Dragons, came from South Sydney, their backrower he has been fantastic in the first two weeks but his week consists of a very limited training schedule due to plantar fasciitis.
“It is a foot problem for Jaydn.. he will need painkilling injections tonight to play, it will be ongoing basically until he requires surgery if at any point he does... he will play tonight but he certainly isn’t one-hundred per cent Jaydn Su’A.”
