Roosters emerge as NRLW title favourites after signing Billie Boyle, two other rep stars

The Roosters have pulled off the biggest signing coup of the NRLW pre-season with Millie Boyle joining the club, alongside fellow international stars Amber Hall and Keeley Davis.

Boyle has been the best middle forward in the world for a number of seasons, regularly churning out crazy stats while playing big minutes up front.

She’s already won three NRLW titles during stints with Brisbane and Newcastle, while she also shared the 2021 Dally M Medal with Sharks signing Emma Tonegato.

Hall is an equally impressive signing given the damage she’s done on the edge and in the middle for the Broncos and New Zealand.

She was a menace at last year’s World Cup and was a finalist for the Golden Boot, which was won by fellow New Zealander Raecene McGregor, who is one of several stars to have left the Roosters in the off-season.

It’s why the club was so keen to secure the services of some of the game’s biggest stars, including Davis, who has been a shining light at St George Illawarra and at rep level.

The Roosters will be one of the favourites for this year’s NRLW title and their squad is set to get even stronger with a couple of other high-profile players to be announced in the coming weeks.

“In their own right, Millie, Amber and Keeley are all terrific players and we’re really pleased to welcome players of their calibre and experience to our squad,” Roosters NRLW coach John Strange said.
