Speaking on NRL360 on Wednesday night, Fox League’s James Hooper revealed the consensus with the club is that the 18-year-old is “ready to go”. The Daily Telegraph’s Michael Carayannis believes Ciraldo will make a late switch to ease the talented playmaker into the NRL, shifting him onto the bench. “It would not shock me if he starts off the bench this weekend,” Cayarannis said. Samuel Hughes would be the likely man to make way if the Bulldogs do make a late change. Meanwhile, the Bulldogs have been dealt another injury blow with Viliame Kikau expected to return for the final games of the season. The club released an injury update with Kikau’s expected return listed as Round 22 after scans revealed a full rupture of his pectoral tendon.
