Darcy Fort and Tom Fullarton have had to make way for returning pair Joe Daniher and Oscar McInerney ahead of Friday night’s preliminary final against Geelong.

Daniher was a late withdrawal from last week’s’ side, travelling back to Queensland to be with his partner for the birth of their child.

McInerney was concussed in the elimination final win over Richmond and has now been able to return to the side after exiting the league’s protocols.

Absent from the squad is Mitch Robinson despite an impressive showing at VFL level, while Jarryd Lyons has again been overlooked.

The winners of both qualifying finals - Geelong and Sydney - have not made any changes to their side for games against the Lions and Collingwood respectively.

It means Geelong will stick with ruckman Rhys Stanley rather than roll the dice on veteran ruck recruit Jon Ceglar.

Collingwood has also made no changes to the squad that defeated Fremantle last week.
