1. Be Happy (Seamie Heffernan/A P O'Brien)

The 'second string' from the O'Brien yard according to price, Be Happy started favourite for the Listed Oaks Trial Stakes at Lingfield and could only manage second behind Eternal Hope. The race was run on the all-weather which suited the winner, who had exclusively raced on that surface previously, compared to Be Happy who had previously only raced on turf.

2. Bright Diamond (Clifford Lee/Karl Burke)

Third in the Group 1 Fillies' Mile at Newmarket as a juvenile, Bright Diamond was disappointing on seasonal reappearance in the Listed Oaks Trial Stakes at Lingfield and would need to improve to place.

3. Caernarfon (Connor Beasley/Jack Channon)

Despite a useful juvenile career including a victory in the Listed Montrose Fillies' Stakes, Caernarfon started 25/1 on her return to action in the Group 1 1000 Guineas. She out-ran her odds to finish a good fourth behind Mawj and connections think she is underrated. The distance is a question mark as a daughter of Cityscape.

4. Eternal Hope (William Buick/Charlie Appleby)

Eternal Hope was unraced as a two-year-old and broke her maiden on the second time of asking at Chelmsford on the all-weather. She proved stamina wasn't a problem when winning the 1m4f Oaks Trial Stakes at Lingfield but is yet to race on turf.

5. Heartache Tonight (Cristian Demuro/David Menusier)

Winner of a maiden at Longchamp at the end of the 2022 season, Heartache Tonight returned with a third at Saint-Cloud in a Group 3 and showed the same level of form when fourth in the Group 1 Prix Saint-Alary. She would need to improve to feature.

6. Maman Joon (Kevin Stott/Richard Hannon)

It's hard to dismiss an Amo Racing-owned horse this season but Maman Joon has a tough task on her hands after only one career start. She should improve for her second in a maiden behind Gather Ye Rosebuds.

7. Red Riding Hood (Wayne Lordan/A P O'Brien)

A winner of a Dundalk maiden, Red Riding Hood picked up some Black Type when finishing third in the Group 3 Blue Wind Stakes over ten furlongs at Naas. She faces a considerably tougher task.

8. Running Lion (Oisin Murphy/John & Thady Gosden)

Running Lion steps into Group company for the first time after four straight victories. She impressed with a four-and-a-half length success in the Listed Pretty Polly Stakes on her first attempt over ten furlongs and has a progressive profile. Stamina would be in doubt, despite her sire Roaring Lion's brave second in the Derby.

9. Savethelastdance (Ryan Moore/A P O'Brien)

Savethelastdance's victory in the Listed Cheshire Oaks is a controversial subject with pundits torn about whether the twenty-two length success was indicative of the filly's ability or whether she has been flattered by the winning margin. Either way, she was very slow early on and would need to sharpen up against some top fillies.

10. Sea Of Roses (Rob Hornby/Andrew Balding)

A well-beaten fifth in the Group 2 Musidora Stakes behind Soul Sister, Sea Of Races needs to find more over a longer distance to be competitive. Her second behind Arrest on debut at Ffos Las could be a strong piece of form.

11. Soul Sister (Frankie Dettori/John & Thady Gosden)

A winner on her sole start as a juvenile, Soul Sister returned with a disappointing performance in the Group 3 Fred Darling Stakes at Newbury. Dismissed after that effort, she started 18/1 for the Group 2 Musidora Stakes at York and produced an impressive four length success. The filly has the potential to improve again.
