Epsom Oaks: runner-by-runner

1. Be Happy (Seamie Heffernan/A P O'Brien)

The 'second string' from the O'Brien yard according to price, Be Happy started favourite for the Listed Oaks Trial Stakes at Lingfield and could only manage second behind Eternal Hope. The race was run on the all-weather which suited the winner, who had exclusively raced on that surface previously, compared to Be Happy who had previously only raced on turf.
