The Japan Racing Association (JRA) announced on Wednesday that a short-term riding jockey's license has been issued to Australian Damien Lane from May 23rd through to July 21st, 2020.

Lane commenced his latest short-term contract on April 18th which went through to May 17th. He rode in Japan last year from April 27th to June 25th and also on December 22nd when he continued his winning partnership with Lys Graciuex to win the Grade 1 Arima Kinen at Nakayama.

Lane's sponsor trainer is Noriyuki Hori (JRA Miho Training Center) and contract owner is Kazumi Yoshida.
