The top positions on the Formpro Amazing Chase leader boards at the three venues basically remained the same over the past week. There was minimal movements with the minor positions at those venues.

There was significant movement on the TAB Futures market (option 986) quotes with a new overall race favourite being installed.

The stunning 29.99s 520m gallop that the Ray Adcock prepared Tom Tee produced when winning his Kolorful Kanvas Garden City heat saw him strongly cementing his place on top of the Addington table. In doing so he has displaced Ridin’ Shotgun (now at $4.50) as the series favourite now being offered at $3.50. Shantui ($4) from the Dave and Jean Fahey kennels has been moved into second favouritism despite not having raced in this country yet.

The 30.96s 520m time that Translator ($41) delivered for her heat fourth placing in the Flair Canterbury Laurels saw her take the second position on the Addington board for her conditioners Dave and Jean Fahey. Her kennelmate Opawa Shackley ($12) is now in a final field selection ballot possie with her 31.02s posted time.

At the Manukau Stadium on Sunday afternoon we saw Lochinvar Brogue ($10) reclaim the second position on the northern leader board when he won the C5 527m event in 30.51s for his trainer Denis Schofield. His time bumped race rival in that event, Westworld ($16), back to third position with his previous 30.55s best time.

Occupying fourth place on the northern table and therefore in the current second reserve position for the final remains the Lisa Cole trained Bigtime Welldone ($101) with his 30.65s clock. Making an appearance for the first time on the table was the Schofield prepared Zipping Silva ($21) who returned 30.85s when going under by a head in his NZ debut outing in the C3 527m event.

There was a change to third place on the Hatrick leader board with the Cole trained Bigtime Bell ($51) improving her 520m time to 30.24s, therefore she’s currently in a final field ballot position. Cawbourne Trixy ($12) for Matt Roberts sits on top with her slick 29.77s clock, while Bigtime Paddy ($14) for Cole stays in second with his 29.79s time.

Three greyhounds Thrilling Surge, Storm Warning and Vikings has been officially withdrawn from the series.
