It will be absolute cutthroat sprinting between the straight out speed merchants at the Hatrick Raceway on Friday evening as they chase after the final field positions available for next Friday’s $15,825 Dash For Cash final from the six 305m heats to be decided.

Only the two quickest heat second place getters will join the six heat winner for the Group 2 final. The slowest two heat runner up finishers won’t even make the final list of ten runners. Now that’s cutthroat sprinting action assured.

4 Bigtime Blackie $26 & $7: She’s in the right form for this assignment as seen by her easy 21.50s Manawatu 375m Monday win.
5 Highland Laddie $16 & $4.50: He has delivered two competitive Manukau 318m sprints following on from his pior bold Group 1 Galaxy 295m second.
6 So Over It $41 & $11: He has now adapted to the rigours of open class sprinting meaning expect a competitive sprint by him here.
7 It’s The Lovely $201 & $46: She’s a former open class sprinter who has dropped right back down into the C2 chasing ranks.
8 Vee Marina $126 & $28: She attained her open class sprinting stripes via her pace making 17.79s C4 305m Friday win. She must improve her times.

1 Box Of Fluffies $81 & $18: This is the trap that she operates best from, although she must hop away quicker from it.
2 Bigtime Basher $31 & $8: He’s resuming from a freshen up after having endured previous wide draws. Expect a bold fresh up effort.
3 Wait For Us $81 & $18: He holds a C1 grading, meaning he’s going to find this dash a very tough assignment.
4 Bigtime Stu $21 & $6: He’s a proven 305m sprinter around this circuit. He holds sound advancement claims from this heat.
5 Homebush Minnie $81 & $18: She has done a great job in attaining open class status but has a tough draw - however she’s still improving.
6 Kirkham Kylie $101 & $23: She boldly controlled the pace throughout when delivering her C4 17.66s 305m Friday win.
7 Howie Bale $51 & $13: He occupied the rear group throughout when running out his C4 nominations on Ascot Park over 390m on Tuesday.
8 Bigtime Fever $101 & $23: She has just returned into the C4 sprinting ranks. In her favour here is her three from three minor placings from trap eight.

2 Polly The Dolly $81 & $18: Her recent outings has been in C2/3 305m and 375m sprints. This a far tougher assignment here.
3 Thunderation $151 & $34: She gamely chased after One Cold Foot here last Friday and she only lost second in the final bound.
4 One Cold Foot $3.20 & $1.55: This bloke certainly doesn’t own any cold paws as seen by his freewheeling last pair of 305m and 375m wins.
5 Bigtime Doug $61 & $16: He was the victim of an impeded racing passage over 375m on Monday. His 17.28s best 305m winning time commands respect.
6 Daisy Lara $81 & $18: She’s returning here after contesting the pace in her recent C4 Manawatu 375m sprints. This is tougher.
7 Opawa Crystal $501 & $101: Her C5 form definitely isn’t the best, however being offered at $501 while being C5 graded is interesting.
